When I awoke he lay next to me, sweet sleep upon his breath. His skin pale and relaxed. Lips slightly ajar. I gaze upon those succulent lips, holding my breath as i long to slip my saultry shivering lips onto his. I shake closer ever so gently. My lungs screaming out in desperation for replenishment. Only an inch closer... Slowly i lingered in the most precautious way. Then suddenly... My lips met his, my nostrils slowly relieved my lungs and the shaking seemed to settle. His lips pierced back and I could feel them stretch into a loving smile. Kissing me back..... "Good morning my love" rang in my ears. And I... Was content.
