They had already put out that the showing was gonna be the main actor was gonna be Roger. You make the backup recording in case like shit like this happens. The live audience that got to see it while it was gonna be live for us got to see the understudy but the TV version couldn’t be cause he was cast and shown as Roger and it happened so last second
