when cas doesn't have his angel powers, he still automatically put his fingers to dean's temple to heal him if he's hurt. and even though it doesn't work, dean will quietly murmur, "all better, nice and healed," and he takes cas' fingers from his forehead and places a soft kiss to cas' fingertips just to reassure his angel that he's okay

sam’s digging through dean’s things and he finds a scrap of paper with coordinates, just like their dad used to leave behind when they were younger. unsure of what it means, sam goes to that very same spot. it’s a meadow, a peaceful one that he’s never seen. there’s a windmill and a brook, too. slowly, a memory floats to the surface of his mind—one of the time when cas just came back and it hits him. this place is where cas’ ashes were spread. he goes back to the bunker only to return the next day with dean’s to spread them there too. it’s peaceful, sam thinks, and dean would like it here. he would like it here with cas.
