I wanna do the same as anon LOOL.: They're coming close to the final turn, It's Union Rags, Creative Cause and Hansen! They're going around the turn into the final stretch and Union Rags taking off! Union rags has the lead by 2 lengths, now 5. Creative Cause and Hansen are trying to catch him but they just can't find the energy to do so! UNION RAGS HAS THE LEAD BY 10 LENGTHS, UNION RAGS HAS WON THE DERBY!!! :D WHAT AN AMAZING EFFORT

I LOVE Zenyatta and I have to agree some of her fans are down right nasty ._. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on a horse. I mean, I like Hansen more than Union Rags and you like Union Rags more than Hansen AND THAT'S OKAY LOL :D

What do you think about Grace being retired?

Nowhere near as bad as when Rachel was retired (oh my god, the sobbing on that day), but this is probably in second place as "Worst Reactions to a Retirement"

I just...she was fine, she was going to race on Oaks day...and then retired

I thought it was a joke at first, honestly. I wanted it to be a joke.

But my darling, wonderful, amazing Gracie is retired. Off to be bred and grow fat and have a great life

In all honesty, I'm happy they did it. She was injured, they knew it would take several months to get her back into racing shape, and at her age...retirement was the best option. This is why I love her connections: putting the horse first.
