Raincode Ship Week Day 5: Swap - Desuhiko x Yuma

Ok so tldr, I may or may not have fallen in love with this drawing while I was doing it so much so that I'm actively working on a whole forte swap au now-

I can't help but imagine how off the wall chaotic things would be if Desuhiko was the protag instead of Yuma- like Shinigami's experience would either be the most fun she's ever had or hell on earth, having to deal with an amnesiac who knows fuck all about himself except how to be dirty minded.

Also I think it'd be funny if swap Yuma was a famous musician trying to break in to the crime fighting world, instead of a detective trying to become a superstar. The WDO probably only sent him to Kanai Ward hoping he'd die cuz they don't want him around but he's a roach of a creature who just won't stay down!

I’m still going to finish this week challenge even if it were to take me months! Also I thought a clothes swap would be easier, I WAS VERY WRONG! This thing consumed almost 19 hours of my life.

I marked my calendar and it's RainCode Ship Week !!!! following the prompts from @raincodeshipweek I'm starting off with my top fave: Yuma x Desuhiko >:DDD So yeah this has been in my drafts since last year actually, when I was starting to get into the ship. This is inspired by the fic "Disguised" by @ SilverTheFourteenth bro I'm like kicking my feet reading this, THE HURT, THE COMFORT AAAAAAAA AND THE INSECURE DESUHIKO HDJSHJFS Please read it, seriously cuz I only just realize this is out of context butI'm kinda giving hints as to what occurred.

RainCode Ship Week Day 5: First Times/Final Moments | Swap

The second I saw the prompt swap I knew exactly what to do! This one is for @tastymarbar! This is their swap AU where Desuhiko and Shinigami swap places! So introducing Shinihiko! The Superstar Death God!

So Yuma and Shinihiko have just entered the Mystery Labyrinth and Shinihiko is leading Yuma down the corridor. Yuma is embarrassed about the contact but Shinihiko is fine (but internally he's screaming. Cute boy and he hasn't had any living contact in hundreds of years. It's very overwhelming for him).

Kinda late, I know, but the week was too busy for me smh

Anyways! I got Chief Yakou remembering with melancholy his wife, meanwhile the ghost of said woman visits him. You could say this take place right in their anniversary of marriage and a month before the BWM.
