saw a goldfinch in the city today. I guess the mass climate devastation of megacorporations looks a little different when you weigh half an ounce and are just finding refuge is some bushes amid a concrete wasteland. maybe I shouldn't dismiss too much the benefit of amazons landscaping. maybe this can help me remember that small efforts are still appreciated.

Sometimes I make things that are not books, which usually involves patching together a design from photos online and fiddling with it until it works. I have a draft of the overall design that I can send to anyone interested (dm me) and I am considering posting the proofed version whenever I finish it.

so I'm really not a fan of tumblr's new thing. I've got some topics filtered, right? because I want to be able to have the option to engage with those or not based on how I'm doing. but apparently, when I do click "show post", instead of simply taking me to the poster's blog within the app normally, it instead:

for which, since I avoid chrome, I have to GO TURN OFF ALL THE TRACKING SHIT FOR CHROME

not logged in of fucking course because I hate chrome and refuse to give it an endless share of cookies so I am promptly greeted with

POP-UPS TELLING ME TO OPEN THIS POST IN THE APP

which, when I select for funsies, does in fact take me back to the app, to the blog post on the poster's blog, and it's still. fucking. hidden

@staff @benevolenthellsite having the option to filter content based on tags, that I could also easily access if I wanted to was one of the better features on this site and let me engage with potentially exhausting stuff on my own terms. Third-party app access only absolutely ruins that feature, and forcing me to use Chrome is unacceptable.

I have a dnd town to populate.

And by populate, I mean have a pool of NPCs, because creating many different, interesting, unique, and sometimes evil NPCs has been a Struggle.

If I made a simple Google form, would anyone be interesting in donating NPC ideas? my campaign is already a wonderful mix of my friends that this seems fitting.
