Can you tell us more about The Company ™️ in Dandy’s World Stars Align?
The Company™️, as previously established, is a corporate entity that rivals entire interstellar nations in terms of size and power. It was founded centuries ago by a pair of human business partners named Delilah Keen and Arthur Walton, although the latter disappeared under mysterious circumstances quite recently.
The Company has fingers in all of the pies, so to speak. They operate in all sectors, all throughout the galaxy, and have pulled the strings behind the rise and fall of dozens of nations.
The Gardenview, despite being quite the impressive ship on a technical level, is actually one of their cheaper vessels- the Celebrant (the Holiday Toons' ship) is far superior in terms of speed and comfort, although it's much smaller and not as suited for long-distance travel.
The Company, as you could probably guess, has plenty of skeletons in their closet, primarily in the form of the many planets and cultures they've conquered or destroyed for resources- Hadal, the home planet of the Piscet people (Finn and Shrimpo's species), is one such world.
The internal organization of the Company is infamously complex and almost labyrinthine in nature, primarily due to the sheer scale at which it operates. Some people believe this is intentional, that the Company is designed in this way to obfuscate and mislead. The veracity of such beliefs, I can neither confirm nor deny, but...it's food for thought, yeah?
