Stumbling back against the bar of the guild, his fingers gripped the surface of the table as his body shook violently. A natural reaction, some figured, but for him it was much worse. He’d experience death many times before but this… he couldn’t accept this to be true. He’d just saw her yesterday, a quick kiss being shared between them before she boarded the train.

It couldn’t be true…

it just couldn’t…

But the more the numbness left his body, the more he realized this wasn’t some night terror plaguing him in slumber. This was real. Fate had struck him critically once more and now the only person he ever loved with all his heart was gone. Taken from him by either an act of battle or accident. Those were the facts and he would have to accept her sudden demise.

At that moment, he felt the tears begin to stain his cheeks as he looked back to the crowd gathering around them. Apparently he wasn’t the first to receive the news, which annoyed him a bit, but that was irrelevant. They knew what would happen to him when this was revealed and they wanted to be supportive. He was so thankful for the amazing friends he had in Fairy Tail.

But still, nothing could mend his broken heart now. He needed solace, to be away from the world and time to accept his beloved’s passing. Time was the key and he needed it now more than ever. Pushing past the crowd and bolting from the guild hall, he was in his house within a few minutes. Once he was alone in his bedroom, he simply stared at a random point in the room and let his mind process the situation. Tears fell like the strongest waterfall…

Once again that day came upon the world. The anniversary of Ur's death. Gray spent that day drinking and alone and watching the sky. Taking a sip of the whisky he brought from Mira. Gray wondered how everything would have turned out if he was stronger. He missed Ur so very much, he still blamed himself for her death and his parents. Sighing softly the male could only think about the past. It felt like only yesterday Ur sacrificed herself for him and Lyon. A single tear ran down his face at the thought of her dying. Lifting up this coat he used the sleeve to wipe away the tear. And then he heard his name being called. Turning around he noticed Juvia was standing behind him.

"Oh! If it isn't Juvia."

A tender hug from behind accompanied by laying of the head on his back as been seen as an action of trust on Deiru’s part. Only once or twice has this been done to him and the action made his heart swell with both joy and humbleness at being cared for so much.

☾ : On a sleepless night, what would they be found doing?

Deiru has had problems with sleep before and he usually keeps himself busy on restless nights by either reading a good book or watching a little television. He actually prefers the former as opposed to the latter because his time with Levy as given him a strong adoration for literature.

✖ : Describe a way to make them uneasy or apprehensive.

For him, he’s always felt uneasy when being stared at, but that is quite normal for most people. What really makes him uncomfortable is when people he doesn’t know attempt to invade his personal space or touch him. His experiences in the past make him quite opposed to random touches and if he’s in a bad enough mood, you might find yourself missing some teeth if you keep it up.

What a wonderful evening it had been for the two of them. The Storm-Make mage had discussed this outing with Juvia before, but business with the guild always tied them up. It saddened him greatly when they didn't have time to be together. Continuing on their stroll, hands interlocked, Deiru smiled at the rain woman.
