The end of 2017 is finally closing in. I had a lot of fun this year experimenting with various fandoms and trying out some styles that I wasn't familiar with! Also this year marks the year that I finally crossed over into using Clip Studio after almost 7 years of just using Photoshop for all my art. I feel like my style definitely benefited from the new program, and I was able to make my inking and painting really come to life more than I ever did before!
In all, I'm pretty happy with the stuff I was able to accomplish this year artistically, and even though my progress wasn't groundbreaking or boosted my skill by a large amount, I still enjoyed myself in the process.
I think the biggest thing I learned this year when it comes to art is to draw what I want, and not worry about what people think. If people like it, then great! but I'm here to have fun and draw the things I feel inclined to draw ;0; I have my own stories and ideas that other folks might not care about, but that doesn't stop me from sharing what I have anyway!! and I think that's the best way to approach art if you're doing it as a hobby. ;w;
As always, I'm looking forward to seeing what new artistic adventures await me in 2018~!
