“top bunk angst and friendship fluff” is from my big old post-war nicheverse fic! that bit takes place the spring after the battle, when harry and ron are off to some sort of auror training camp for a bit, so thanks to sharing a room they get to be right there for the other one’s nightmares etc so of course late night angst ensues because would this be a fanfic written by yours truly if it gosh darn motherfucking didn’t.
so there’s some lovely hurt/comfort with both of them sitting on harry’s top bunk, whilst also chatting to hermione, via sirius’ mirror*, who’s in hogwarts at the time and who’s obviously ready to check up on and fret over her boys at all times, even if it’s the middle of the night.
they also get to have some new ~boggart experiences~ which, wouldn’t ya know it, leads to more ANGST! good times, very sad.
(*i have harry pass it on to them, because they’re in a long distance relationship at that point and long distance relationships are hard, man.)
