I miss going to the Salt House parties together and making out after the euphoria of bubbles hits. I used to wake up all the time, just to glance over, hoping to see you sleeping next to me. Seeing nothing. Your pillow stopped smelling like you. The whole apartment stopped feeling right.” Rain: ... Stroud: "I've changed. No really! I'm changing, Rain. I swear I am. I picked up a job in social media. I know, right? Me, in social media. Ha. But it's alright. I moved out of that shitty apartment. You were right, it was really really shitty. I realized that the only reason I loved it was because you were there with me. I moved across the hall. It's a one bedroom, but it looks and feels a lot nicer. And I'm picking up after myself! No more garbage everywhere. The place is neat and clean. I quit smoking!"
