Ro: “I don’t know. I mean, I don’t think it’s really hit me that Harrison broke up with me. Part of me keeps telling myself that he was just upset and he didn’t mean it.” Sophie: “Maybe he did, and maybe he didn’t, but it was really childish and unfair for him to throw all that on you the way he did.” Sidney: “Yeah, it was kind of a dick move. And blaming Sophie? Also a dick move.” Ro: “Yeah. I know. But, he’s always been a bit of a hothead. I could tell how upset he was.” Sidney: “Look, I know he’s a hothead, but don’t feel like you need to keep making excuses for him.”
Sophie: “Hello?” Sidney: “Did you get it?!” Sophie: “I did!” Ro: “Me too! I got in!” Sidney: “Same!! I called Tristan and he’s calling Liam.” Ro: “I tried calling Harrison but he isn’t answering.” Sophie: “Ah, don’t worry Ro, he’s probably celebrating with his parents.” Sidney: “Yeah, but he knows the plan - the Hideout on the day we get our letters!” Ro: “Right! Leaving now, meet you in front of your place, Sid.” *click* Sophie: “I’m leaving now, too. Probably be the last one there, as usual. Haha.” Sidney: “Hey, it’s not your fault you live the farthest away! See you there, Sophie!”
Sophie: “I got it, I got it. I know where to go, let me make a phone call.”
Sidney: “What. A. Jerk. Like, what the hell.” Ro: “He’s going through some stuff right now, let him cool off. This SASA program was a big deal for him.” Sophie: “So, where to now?” Tristan: “My place is kinda small, but I mean, it’s only a little smaller than the hideout.” Liam: “Sophie’s place is huge, lots of space.” Sophie: “Yeah, there’s enough beds for everyone.” Ro: “No. No parents. I don’t want to have to explain why Harrison isn’t with us.” Tristan: “The park? We could catch a movie.” Liam: “Nah, it’s that lame kids movie again tonight.”
Liam: “Clubbing tomorrow! We buying new clothes?” Tristan: “Hell yes, new clothes. This is a special occasion! But Harrison, though. Like what the hell?” Liam: “Yeah, damn. He went off. I do feel bad for him, though. If he’d made it in and I got rejected, I might have reacted the same way.” Tristan: “I doubt it, man. You’re not that type of person. But for real? I lost respect for him the moment he started screaming at Ro. She’s my cousin, you know? Family. A few years back, I didn’t have a family. This whole Harrison thing... Ro was quick to defend him. It makes me wonder if he’s screamed at her before, you know?” Liam: “I hope not. Ro doesn’t deserve that. We can’t bring this up to her right now, though. She’s already been through enough.” Tristan: “Yeah, this weekend we celebrate. But I’ll be talking to her later about it.”
Harrison: “...Alright. Alright. Fine. Astronaut it is. When are you applying, Tristan?” Tristan: “I’m headed over on Tuesday after school. Mom’s taking me. We can swing by and pick you up.” Harrison: “Sure. Ro? You wanna just come to my house after school so Tristan doesn’t need to make two stops?” Ro: “I can come with you if you want, sure.” Harrison: “Well, don’t you need to apply, too?” Ro: “Um... what?” Harrison: “So we can be space rangers together.” Ro: “Harrison... I was accepted in to the SASA program.” Harrison: “And you’re going to go??? Without me?!” Ro: “May I speak to you in the bedroom, please?”
