The Ontario Provincial Police said they received information on where the man was. Police then arrested him and found the two-year-old girl in good health.
Provincial police in northern Ontario have issue an Amber Alert for a two-year-old girl they say was abducted in Rainy River, near the Manitoba boundary.
The victim is identified as Eva Kaminski.
She is described as white, 3 feet 2 inches tall, with blue eyes and long blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing pink penguin pyjamas.

A Manitoba man has been charged with multiple offences after a two-year-old girl was briefly missing from a northern Ontario home, prompting police to issue an AMBER Alert.
The OPP said in a statement that Rainy River district officers were called to Chapple Township, east of the Manitoba border, on Saturday with a report of a domestic dispute.
“Upon police arrival, officers learned that the suspect had fled the scene in a vehicle in the company of a two-year-old female,” police said.Ontario AMBER Alert has been cancelled. Police subsequently requested an AMBER Alert. Officers said they received information on where the man was. Police then arrested him and found the two-year-old girl in good health. The alert was cancelled around 7:30 a.m. ET Sunday.
Brad Farand, 37, of Brandon, Man., has been charged with three counts of assault, one count of choking to overcome resistance, one count of mischief, one count of taking a motor vehicle without consent and one count of driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with failure to wear a seatbelt and novice driver-related offences.
Farand is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear before a Justice of the Peace on Monday through teleconference.
