A soothing and antioxidant-rich matcha latte that's perfect for a cozy day or a pick-me-up.
Ingredients: 1 tsp matcha powder. 1 cup hot water. 1/2 cup milk of your choice. 1 tsp honey or sweetener of your choice optional.
Instructions: Mix the matcha powder and a little hot water in a bowl with a whisk until the mixture is smooth. In a different pot, heat the rest of the hot water until it's hot but not boiling. Mix the hot water into the matcha and make sure it's well mixed. The milk should be heated in a different pan until it's hot but not boiling. For this step, you can also use a milk frother. Add the hot milk to the matcha mixture and mix it well. You can add honey or another sweetener to taste and mix it in until it's fully mixed in. Put the matcha latte in a cup and enjoy!
