Jae said it would be just a casual hangout with his friends, so you opted to wear leggings and a baggy tee he left at your place.
“Y/N, you ready?” He called from the living room.
“Coming!” You grabbed your wallet and ran over to join him. He grinned.
“Nice shirt.”
“You think so? The person who gave it to me is significantly bigger than me... I think they need to lay off the ramen.” You chuckled.
“Alright, alright. Let’s go. Don’t make me sass you.”
“Like you don’t already.”

“She’s a lovely lady, don’t attack her.” He ruffled your hair as you passed him.
The car ride over was fun as usual. Talking about random stuff you read online, stupid news happening abroad, breaking out into karaoke along to the radio. It almost felt like the car ride was a date on its own. Soon, the two of you arrived to an unfamiliar building where he led the way inside.
He brought you up to one of the top floors and the elevator opened up to a huge living space. You heard two voices let out excited screams and looked over to see Amber and Matthew running over from the couch. They immediately greeted Jae, but eyed you curiously.
“I know you said you were bringing someone, but I didn’t know they’d be so pretty.” Matthew grinned. You were frozen. You didn’t know you’d be meeting them today.
“My girlfriend is the most beautiful girl in the world.” Jae proudly smiled.
“You literally called me ugly when I woke up from my nap earlier.” You mumbled.
“I’m sure you looked beautiful even after waking up.” Amber winked.
While Jae and Matthew set up drinks and snacks, you and Amber talked about Jae. Amber joked about how she pitied you for having such a bully of a boyfriend. You tell her how it’s fun having playful banter, but it gets a little embarrassing in front of a lot of people, or people she doesn’t know too well.
“Did Jae give you that shirt? Kind of looks ugly.” Amber joked.
“Oh? Y/N, should I give you mine?” Matthew offered, starting to take his own shirt off. You and Amber widened your eyes at his abs. Jae noticed and ran over to stop him.
“You look great in that shirt, baby. You don’t need a new shirt.” Jae said.
“Just ask and you’ll receive.” Matthew winked at you, making you laugh. Jae’s face heated up but continued to bring the snacks quietly.
You were sandwiched between Jae and Matthew throughout the movie while Amber was sitting on the floor. Matthew kept making comments about the movie, which made you laugh pretty loud. Jae’s eye twitched every time you laughed at a joke that wasn’t his.
After the movie you guys watched, Matthew cooked a quick dinner for everyone. The four of you talked as though you’d been friends for years, even though it was your first time meeting them. Both made sure to be overly flirtatious with you when they talked to you.
What the two of them were doing were obvious to you, so you played along seeing how funny Jae’s reactions were. You were a little surprised he wasn’t more forward about protesting. He would eye them with a death glare, but remain quiet.
On your way out, you made sure to give Amber and Matthew a big hug each, thanking them for a fun evening. When Matthew’s hug was lingering a little too long, Jae couldn’t help but pull you out of it. He gave them a brief good night before dragging you to the car.
You bit your lip to stop yourself from laughing as he helped you into the car. Once he got into the car, he let out a long sigh.
“We’re not hanging out with them again.” He muttered.
“Hm?” You asked.
“I didn’t like how they were flirting with you. And how could you flirt back like that?! In front of me? That wasn’t cool... And AMBER! She said she’s into guys! What is she doing?!” He freaked out. You giggled to yourself.
“I mean... with someone like you, any girl would turn-”
“You know they did that on purpose, right?” You raised a brow. He lifted his head and looked at you.
“They did?” Just then, he received a text message.
‘Had it been anyone else, they’d sweep in and take your girl from you.’ From Amber.
“I’m never teasing you again.” Jae promised.
“You can tease me all you want, you don’t know who’ll think it’s mistreatment and have plans to treat me better.” You confidently shrugged. He rolled his eyes and pulled you in for a kiss.

please excuse how terrible my writing is ... this is my first time publicly writing in over five years ...
You were almost reluctant to get dressed. You weren’t exactly excited for prom since you couldn’t care for many of your school mates. Of course, save for your small friend group and your special someone.
“Come on, Y/N! We’re already late 15 minutes. You don’t want to get stared at for being late, do you?!” Your best friend complained on the other side of your bedroom door.
“I look like a potato that needs to be returned into her bed.” You replied.
“I’m sure you look great, come on! The others are waiting!” She impatiently tapped on the door. You let out a sigh. If it wasn’t for your love for your friends and it being the last event of the year together, you would have gladly stayed at home under a blanket and watching reruns of Family Outing.
You joined your best friend who was happy with your look. She couldn’t stop complimenting you the entire ride to the venue.
Meanwhile, Younghyun and the other boys were already at the venue.
“Y/N is the type to come in a suit.” One said.
“I bet she had to wait for the others to get ready in their dresses and makeup.” Another laughed.
“She’ll look great in a suit.” Younghyun proudly smiled.

Before Younghyun could say more, the boys heard familiar voices. They looked over and saw the girls walking in, with you leading the pack. Well, more like your best friend had to push you forward because you were too shy to walk in.
You stumbled forward, and once you caught your balance you whipped your head up and scanned the room. Younghyun was staring right at you, the other boys with their jaws to the floor. You awkwardly cleared your throat and straightened, half-confidently walking over to them in your heels.
“Y/N came in a dress, fancy hair and light make up that she did all herself. You owe me.” Your best friend grinned at her boyfriend.
“Disappointed, Y/N. I bet you’d wear a suit.”
“It’s prom. I should dress up at least once.” You shrugged. You felt more than your friend group staring, and when you looked around the room, a lot of your school mates were looking at you.
“Why is everyone staring at me?”

“Really?” You softly smiled. He awkwardly cleared his throat.

Jimin frantically looked between his map and where he was walking
Of course he had to get lost the day he was going on a group tour
It would have been comforting if some of his friends came, but they wanted to go shopping at the mall nearby
He saw a young woman standing in the middle of the open area with a flag and a map, so he shyly approached her
“E-Excuse me..” He quietly called in English
“Hi, are you here for the tour?” You replied in Korean, triggering him to let out a sigh of relief
“I am.”
“Nice to meet you! I’m Y/N, I’ll be starting the tour in another few minutes.”
He also shyly introduced himself to you, half because he felt awkward to be alone and half because he found you attractive
Being quite the outgoing person, you asked him about how he was finding his trip to Canada, what he liked so far and what kind of places he wanted to see during the tour
After your conversation, you started and led the group of 25 around the city
You spoke flawlessly without hesitations, which fascinated Jimin
On top of that, being able to recite facts about the city from heart while walking backwards was pretty impressive
Halfway through the tour, everyone split up for lunch and you announced the rendezvous point
You were about to leave for lunch as well, but you noticed Jimin was awkwardly looking around

“Let’s go. Join me for lunch.”

“Everyone else was in pairs or small groups. Join me so we’re not that lonely.”

That night, Jimin returned to the hotel and noticed everyone taking a nap. He shrugged and changed clothes to go out for dinner. He took his chances and decided to return to the area where the city tour started.
He didn't see you anywhere, but waited a few minutes anyway. He heard a voice on a small speaker approaching and lifted his head up. He saw you returning with a group and the little flag.
Jimin smiled and dug his hands into his pockets while he waited for you to finish.
You turned off the speaker and folded the flag into your bag. As you took off your hat, Jimin approached shyly.
"Done work for the day?" He asked. You spun in surprise and let out a sigh of relief.
"You scared me. But yes, that was my last tour of the day."
"Would you join me for dinner?"
"Alone again? What happened to the six friends you're here with?" You laughed.
"They were all napping."
"How boring. They went to work out and nap when they're abroad? I mean, not like downtown is anything exciting but at least you went to explore." He chuckled.
"So.. dinner?"
"I look terrible while you look all nice."
"You look great, c'mon." His smile was too inviting to say no. You nodded with a smile of your own, making him excited.
"Great. I heard about this really good restaurant nearby earlier today." He winked as he started leading the way.
"Oh, did you? Whoever taught you has good taste."

It had been over a month since he returned from his trip to Canada. He couldn't help but sulk a little bit. He was hoping to see you again, but every time the two of you tried to make plans, one or the other was busy. He ended up having to leave without seeing you again.
"Yah." Namjoon slapped Jimin's head. "You've been moping for a month."
"What's wrong?" Seokjin asked.
"It's probably that girl he met." Hoseok shrugged.
"You met someone?!" The other two exclaimed.
"She was my tour guide." Jimin nodded.
"Oh…" They deflated.
"I was the only one on my own in the group so she made sure I was engaged. And she asked me to join her for lunch. She was… charming." He smiled in melancholy.
"You coming with us to the gym later?" Jungkook asked.
"I'll pass. I have plans to go to Gangnam."
"Alone? Weirdo." Yoongi scoffed.
"Leave him be. Be safe when you go." Namjoon reminded.
A few hours later, Jimin got dressed in light clothes for the breezy spring evening. He greeted everyone before leaving to Gangnam like he said.
As he walked around, he was reminded of the bustling city back when he visited Canada and felt his mood drop even more.
He approached an open area where a few people were gathering in front of a tour guide. He smiled nostalgically to himself and started walking away.
"Excuse me!" He popped his head up at the voice. He turned his head to the group and saw a small figure talking to the guide. She nodded then bowed to the guide. She looked around excitedly, clearly not familiar with the area.
Jimin felt his heart jump out of his chest. Were his eyes deceiving him? The lady a few feet away from him looked eerily identical to you.
He noticed the multiple piercings on your ear and remembered them. Confidently, he walked up to you and bumped shoulders with you.
"I'm sorry-" You started and looked up at him. He smiled then looked down at you.
"Jimin! What are you doing here?" You gasped.
"I could say the same about you." He chuckled.
"I came to visit a friend but he was busy today so I decided to take a tour."
"Sounds familiar." Jimin joked.
"I have one friend to meet. You had six. That was kind of sad." She teased.
Before they could continue, the tour started. Jimin kept making sarcastic comments about the tour guide and what he was saying, which made you laugh but also told him to keep quiet.
The tour guide dismissed the group for a 15 minute break, making Jimin release a sigh.
"Finally. Let's go." He said.
"Go where?" You raised a brow.
"Anywhere but here."
"I can't just leave the group!"
"Sure you can. You have a better tour guide now." He grinned, extending his hand. You chuckled and took his hand.
As promised, Jimin showed you every corner of Gangnam that he knew about, including lesser known cafes and restaurants he enjoyed going to. He treated you to a dinner, and he made sure to be seated on the roof with the romantic lighting and view of the city. In the middle of your conversation, your phone started ringing.
“Hello? ... Oh hey! .... Now? I’m at a restaurant with a friend. ... Yes I have friends in Korea besides you, thank you very much. ... Shut up. .... I’m close-by. I can meet you there before we go home. See you soon.” You hung up and continued eating.
“Your friend?” Jimin pouted.
“Yeah. He’s done work. I’m going to meet him so we can go home together.” You nodded. When you noticed the silence lingering a little too long, you looked up at him. Jimin was poking at his food with a pout.
“I’m going to be here for a month, Jimin. We have plenty of time to hang out.”
“Really?” He popped his head up with an excited smile.
“I might have a few days that I won’t be free, but I’ll be available most days since I just want to be exploring.”
“Your friend is working while you’re here?”
“Yeah, for the most part. That’s why I’ll be free.”
“Then I’ll bring you around. We can go wherever you want, Y/N.”
“That would be amazing, Jimin. Thank you. I should get going though.”
“That’s alright. You wouldn’t want to keep them waiting.”
“Here, for dinner.” You said, taking out your wallet.

“It really is.” You pointed at his shirt. He looked down and you booped his nose. He blinked in shock and you laughed.

A few days later, Jimin and Jungkook went out to get a birthday gift for a friend and get lunch together. They came out of a store and started walking over to a restaurant when Jimin saw you. He smiled upon seeing your face again, but it immediately vanished.
You were laughing, arms wrapped around someone else’s and your head resting on their arm. Jimin couldn’t tell who you were with since they were wearing a hat and mask. You wiped tears of laugher away from your eyes and looked at Jimin.
“Oh, Jimin!” You waved excitedly. He smiled back and returned the wave, but kept glancing at the person you were with.
“Exciting running into you here.” You giggled. “Shopping?”
“Gift for a friend. Jungkook, this is Y/N. My friend from Canada.”
“Hey, nice to meet you!” Jungkook beamed.
“Pleasure. This is my friend Sungwoon, the one who’s almost too busy to keep me company.” You introduced.
“Sungwoon like... Ha Sungwoon the singer?” Jimin widened his eyes.
“That’s me. But shhh. We should leave soon before it get really busy.” Sungwoon kindly suggested.
“Jimin knows all the good restaurants with little customers so we can have some privacy. Right, Jimin?” You smiled.
“Y-Yeah..” Jimin started leading the way, and you excitedly followed still attached to Sungwoon.
While the four of you ate, you and Sungwoon took turns taking care of each other, and making sure that the other was eating well. Jungkook told you stories that you found exciting about life in Korea.
Jimin couldn’t help but stay quiet. The more time passed, the more jealous he got. At one point, Jungkook went out to answer a call while Sungwoon went to the bathroom, leaving you two alone.
“You’re oddly quiet today, Jimin.” You chuckled.
“I’m probably just tired.”
“I’d believe that. You’re such a busy man.” You teased. “You free this week? I kind of want to explore some hot springs.”
“Sungwoon can’t take you?”
“Work.”

“So, he was the one you went on a hot date with, huh?” Sungwoon asked as he returned to the table.
