  i got like one sentence into a follow-up post...

When I was on antidepressants, a lot of my depression was caused by me being so sick for so long. The pills didn’t make that better but they made it easier for me to just COPE with the situation. The circumstances can’t be changed but maybe the meds can help you like, keep them from digging into your brain too hard.

thats pretty helpful to know actually, thats a good way of looking at it as i continue to fumble through the process of trying antidepressants and not quite knowing what i should be looking for if theyre working or not

um this isnt the most coherent reply i guess sorry
