I think as a fandom we do not give Nicholas Cox enough financial literacy. He is poor, yes. He is unused to luxury, yes. But when youāre so focused on the cost of things and having to budget, you develop: financial literacy. Nicholas knows taxes. Nicholas has worked jobs. Nicholas has formulas for budgeting. Nicholas pays rent on time. Nicholas knows how much milk costs at any moment. Nicholas knows the difference between good bread and bad bread. Nicholas knows how to fix pipes with a wrench, some scrap metal, some screws, and a rusty screwdriver he found on the side of the road. It was the only way he could help keep his mother afloat. He would be financially literate.
Nicholas deciding he wants a streak of red in the middle of his bangs. Him complaining in the bathroom and staining things red until Seiji finally comes to help. Nick sitting quietly while Seiji carefully paints his hair red. Seiji having to sit on Nickās lap to get the underside. Nick asking if Seiji is wearing nice clothes. Them cleaning together, and fighting and laughing and teasing the whole time. Seiji forgetting to close the curtain fully before going to bed. Nicholas and Seiji falling asleep, facing each other, eye contact slowly fading as their eyes close

I know nothing about heated rivalry but I do know shit abt hockey and hockey culture and Iām just saying Ilya and Shane could make out sloppy on the ice and everyone would go āhaha damn thatās crazy, weird Ilya chose Shane thoā and not give a second thought. My brother has played hockey for YEARS and I regularly go to his games, tournaments, and practices. I am on first name basis with his team most years. My first meeting with one of his teammates they farted on me, accused me of lesbianism, then proceeded to sit on another teammates lap and threaten to kiss their neck. I can not accentuate enough how no one is finding Ilya and Shane out

They love to do mundane things together!! Baking, cleaning, taking a walk, they just prefer doing it together.
Pete thinks Steph is so pretty, and he expresses it in the nerdiest way possible. āYour eyes are the same shade as a mahogany tree in winterā āPete just say my eyes are pretty.ā
They use pet names like babe and baby! Occasionally hon, but nothing else. Otherwise they just use the others name

Pete had a crush on her for years (it waxed and waned but was fairly constant) so when they finally got together he was over the MOON

They will send each other songs they think the other would like, but ONLY at the most ungodly times. Itās always either at 3 AM or like. In the middle of a test. At first it was unintentional but now they completely do it on purpose

They both get really insecure. Steph feels like sheās too dumb for Pete, and Pete feels like heās too ugly/nerdy for Steph. They comfort each other whenever the other brings it up
Steph gets JEALOUS. She gets jealous easily, and itās so obvious. Pete doesnāt as much, but he does hide it better too
Steph puts HOURS into games she likes; mostly games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and Zelda BOTW that are really easy to explore and sink time into
Pete loves astronomy a lot! Once for his birthday, Ruth and Richie bought him those sticky glow in the dark stars. He never put them up until he started dating Steph and gaining confidence
Steph on the other hand is an astrology girlie!!
She also spends most of class playing random no service mobile games on her phone bc. Too much effort to pay attention man (barbās number one opp iykyk)
Pete loves chemistry most, then physics, then biology. Still loves biology tho
Pete also looked up to Ted a lot as a child, but the older he gets the worse his opinion becomes of his older brother. He still loves him though!
Stephās house is definitely a minimalist-brutalist aesthetic (bc her father likes it) so she decks her room out to the MAX. Multicolored carpet samples sewn together, random painted things on the walls, posters everywhere, so many lights. So many lights. It brings her joy to be surrounded by things she loves, as well as being a deviant from her fathers wishes

Neither are a fan of physical touch unless itās from the other (Pete gets overwhelmed easily and Steph just donāt like it bc she donāt)
They both suck at communicating properly and itās a thing they have to actively work on since they fought a LOT at the beginning
