i think i’m finally settling on a horrorterror pearl design that’s both cuter and grosser/sadder at the same time..........

this was supposed to be a dumb funny au ;_;

bah i’m trying to get used to drawing digitally again

do you know how hard it is to design something that is pale, skinny and spidery and still make it remotely interesting

amethyst doesn’t really have a set form, she’s always kind of in parasyte/the thing/shoggoth mode but i guess here she’s smiledog

i don’t even know how to make garnet scary....... her design’s inspired by two different silent hill monsters but she just looks. very geometrical

everything’s exactly the same except the gems can’t manage to look remotely organic or natural so they avoid humanity a lot more

steven looks the same except sometimes flowers grow in his hair
