How's Ralak like as a father? I loved the fics of @/tiredmamaissy but we never got an idea of Ralak's dynamics with his children.

I mean, we all know he'd be a great caring father. But I'm looking for the specific details (I hope this is not a hard ask to answer), like dealing with his child's life fases, like, newborn, childhood, teenage years, etc and etc...

Makes me think... How his children look like being a hybrid of two kings of Navi, and how they're treated by the clan...

Btw he has two sons right, have you thought of their personalities?

This is gonna be a long one so buckle up! Alright let’s get into it.

Ralak as a father is a delish subject. 😋🫦 Let’s start with the beginning:

1. He’s a gentle father in general, loves his kids dearly, would do anything for them, he spoils them and would give them the world. He teaches them good values and manners but that doesn’t mean that they’re allowed to do anything they want and take their father’s generosity and patience for granted.

2. He’s quick to put them in their places when they need it, one look and that’s it, they behave. If they still won’t listen, he’s just gonna take care of it by putting them in ‘air jail’ or holding them down himself (kinda like you do to misbehaving puppies yk?), and letting them squirm enough to tire themselves out.

3. He’d become stricter when they’d become teenagers because that’s when they’d get in trouble most. His oldest son, Rak’äni is very much a troublemaker already and in his teenage years… he would be a menace. Ralak would still pull the ‘overpowering’ card on them, specifically Rak’äni lmao.

4. He’d definitely take his newborn (in a harness obv) with him for a swim on his tsurak. Just to calm the baby down from crying or just for fun. (He’d show off his baby boy to the other warriors proudly)

5. His children are definitely unique (both appearance wise and their personalities) but that wouldn’t make them be treated differently, they’d learn the ways of the metkayina since birth much like the other metkayina babies. If there would be any bullying involved coming from other metkayina kids, Rak’äni would do to them what Lo’ak did to Ao’nung lol. He knows how to fight both as a human and as a na’vi (from both parents).

I’ll add an old pic of Rak’äni i made a long time ago:

- First off, he’s a hybrid obv, his skin is a mixed color between his parents’ and he’s got a metkayina tail, just thinner, he’s got strakes (arm-fins) that came in later around the age of 14, 5 fingers, yellow eyes like his mom, build like dad and resembling him more than mom. At 22, He’s almost as tall as Tonowari and he’s pure muscle and testosterone.

- He’s got quite a temper, quick to react, hot-headed and he jumps to fights. He’s competitive, likes wrestling and playful fights. He doesn’t hesitate to throw punches and he prefers body combat more to guns because he knows what he’s doing. He knows how to handle guns too but he’s that type that once the gun runs out of bullets, he uses it as a baseball bat. Beating the sh*t out of the opponent.

- He’s a got an ikran and a tsurak, likes both to swim and fly but prefers to swim because he’s better at it and in combat he goes undetected.

Gurl I think I spotted Ralak in the third film. I saw a Metkayina that looked similar to him while Jake was taking out the guns he found. It's a YouTube short, idk but he low-key looks a bit similar to Ralak.

Also, would Ralak use a gun? Or is he also against metal weapons??

What would happen if Ralak witnesses one of his kids do something disrespectful towards their mother? Like she tells them no about something they've been insisting and they end up throwing a tantrum. When their mom tries to calm them down. Their kid screams at their mom to 'Shut up'. I just hear the God of War theme playing as Ralak storms over. Would lil bro/sista end up meeting Eywa??

Naah Ralak’s not a violent person, he’s a very gentle giant but he does put his foot down when anyone (even his own kids) disrespects his mate. As soon as the kid would finish the sentence, he’d be spawned in. Serious expression, almost scary, just grab the kid’s base of the kuru (not hard but enough to secure a grip) and just take the kid outside with him, walking with him by his side, holding him and telling him why ‘we’ don’t do that or behave like that 😊😳🙈🩷 If it ever happens again, Ralak would have them go fishing, spear crafting or doing chores the whole day until they apologize lmao, doing reps and errands while he watches and tells them ‘again’.

I'm a angsty bitch. Imma drop a scenario that could quite possibly hurt Ralak a lot.

Okay, so he has a wonderful mate, talented, assertive, and respectful. She gets pregnant, but she doesn't tell him immediately, only a few days after that she is confirmed to be expecting. Why? She doesn't want kids. She absolutely despises them, and Ralak doesn't know that because she plays an innocent front to not hurt him. So she drops the bombshell. "I'm pregnant." But proceeds to be very, and I mean very annoyed and mean about it when she says it. At this point, she doesn't care if it hurts Ralak. She doesn't want that child at all. Partially, she'll blame herself, but she will put a lot of distance between herself and Ralak because she will blame him mostly. Cursing at him, rejecting any of his kind advances as well as cursing the great mother that she has to tolerate 'bullshit' for the rest of her life.

Ok so as you know, Ralak would be thrilled to learn he is going to be a father. On second hand, he would, at first, sense that she is not really happy about it even before she expresses it. He would ask her what’s wrong and upon hearing her annoyance about the pregnancy, he would do his best to make her happy and tell her that it’s going to be a wonderful experience, he will make sure to comfort her and reassure her he will be the one to take most of the responsibility to both please her and have this baby. When it comes to her being mean, blaming and cursing at him, that would really hurt him, he wouldn’t show it, his ears would tho, he would just try his best to get over it so both of them could live fairly decent (happiness wise). Gawd damn… Please spare me the angst cuz I’m vulnerable and weak ty 🫠😅
