I would like to know more about Vaclav Havel and his traition,please
Vaclav Havel is born in Brno, his father was a carpenter.
In AX his code name is No Face / Know Faith (wordplay), because he can change into invisible mode. Many parts of his body are artifical.
He is one of the oldest friends of Caterina, a good man and always looking for the wellbeing of people especially the poor ones. This led him to his treason. He explains it to Alec why he betrayed them:
“The church couldn’t do anything. No, it’s more appropriate to say hat they didn’t do anything…..till the New Vatican uprising, the farmers in the area nearly all spent their lives not unlike livestock. During the uprising, Archbishop d'Este promised a three-year tax exemption for Brno and its surrounding farmers. I don’t have to explain the rest, do I….?….. This is the reason I betrayed you, to answer Your Holiness question from a little while ago. I couldn’t forgive them for using faith to make money, or for turning weak people into food, or the system that allowed that……Blessed are the poor’ - I couldn’t forgive that God ignored the weak!”

He betrayed his friends and kidnaped the Pope but he doesn’t kill any of them. At the end when the Inquisition interfere and wants to blow a big bomb in Brno Havel is on the side of AX again. He dies in the arms of Alec (killed by Paula) and tells him that thanks to him he is reunited with God he was lost sight of. Havel’s words are very important for the character development of Alec: “As long as you have volition you aren’t powerless!”
After his death Caterina doesn’t allow a real funeral for him because he is a traitor. However after everyone leaves her office she shows big pain that she had to do like this.
