PROTECT YOUR MODESTY

Nowadays, it has become very common in universities to promote immodesty in the name of Iftar parties. Men and women sit together for Iftar, prepare for it together, and spend time taking selfies and making videos.

Remember that you are fasting for the sake of Allah and to distance yourself from sins. Therefore, protect your Iman and restrain yourself from attending gatherings where there is no distinction or separation between Mahram and Non-Mahram.

Understand the true significance of the fast. Attending these types of programs where free mixing occurs leads you closer to Zina. This is not an act of worship, it is a sin

DUA E ISM E AZIM

Hazrat Buraidah Aslami Radiallahu anhu narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم heard a man supplicating to Allah in these words:

*اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ*

O Allah! I ask of You by the means of my testimony of faith and witness that You are my Allah; there is no one worthy of worship except You, nor is anyone worthy of obedience or the fulfillment of needs except You. Who is One and Alone; the entire universe is dependent upon Him, but He is not dependent on anyone; He has no children, nor is He the offspring of anyone, and there has never been, nor can there ever be, anyone else like Him or equal to Him.

Then the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: 'By Him in Whose Hand is my soul! Surely, this person has asked Allah by His Greatest Name (Ism-e-Azim), through which, if He is called upon, He responds, and if He is asked for something, He grants it.

Sunnan Tirmidhi : 3475

*اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَ عَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ وَ عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ*

This (dua) is fabricated or based on a (da'if) hadith.

Instead of that, you should recite this.

*ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ*

`"Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and the reward is sure, if Allah wills."`

[Abu Dawud 2357]

This is the sahih and authentic dua after iftar
