Late Spring I left NY. This was the beginning of becoming aware of Phoenix energy. It was not long before that that Zahra and her partner decided to go separate ways on the surface of things. This was the choice to make prophesy their reality. “I sense a divergence and a re-joining. The visual I have looks like a figure 8, like that’s what you two do, over and over again. There is no leaving because there is always returning.” (Kate Sitka, March 1st 2014) So dramatic change in the expression of my relationship to my partner, rebirth into Zahndy, leaving NY and going to Ohio, going through 10 weeks Presence Process, one week on the streets of Yellow Springs, and here I AM. All the multi-dimensionality of Zahndy continuing to unfold here. I burned the costume of my character so I could see, yet again, the phoenix rise. Even more magnificent this time. And so you see the paintings above, the first batch if you will since all the trans-formation. Notice also the shift from mostly tempura to acrylic. Enjoy.
