Elizabeth was working on some new lyrics, one that told of an intense love for someone, growing increasingly frustrated that she can’t quite nail the feeling she scurried off to find some help.  “Sita!!”  Elizabeth chirped out, before taking a moment to catch herself.  Did. . . Did she run all the way here!?  “You’re an expert when it comes to all that lovey dovey stuff right?  I need help figuring something out for this new song so do you mind if I ask you some things!?”

The look in Elizabeth’s eyes was one of ‘I’m not taking no for an answer’ her tail flicked with excitement awaiting Sita’s response.

“And what heroic spirit are you?” Shuten could swear that she had seen someone that looked like the woman wandering about before but.. the two weren’t exactly the same. So this situation was a bit confusing for the Oni, but she wouldn’t let the thoughts drag for too long in her mind. “My name is Shuten-Doji, the Oni of Mount Ooe, would you care for a drink?” simple sake, something more down to the toxicity range of a mortal, that is what she offered, instead of something intoxicating and powerful.

Sita was similar, a faithful and loving wife cursed to never be able to see her lover for the rest of eternity. Not even death would be able to reunite them, a bitter and tearful story to the very end.

The Lady of the Lake gazed at the other with somber eyes, frown etched on her face as she softly muttered. “... it’s a tiring thing, isn’t it? To be crossed by fate even after a lifetime.”
