Speaking of, sorry for delaying the next chapter so much. :( The last two weeks of work were really taxing, and when your main job is writing as well, getting back into a fic after a prolonged workday is brain-melting. And I already have a limited amount of brain cells. (๑╹ڡ╹)╭ ～ ♡

Either way, I expect to publish the next chapter either on Monday or Tuesday.

I imagine how Gale "heard [Lorroakan] was a bit of a cad" is bc Loro is the butt of every wizard's joke at the Academy and any conferences.

Guy is a loser- that's a given. But he's a wizard. Cocky, arrogant, presumptive with NONE of the talent to back it up. He feels like he's the type of one-up that walks into a group and with his chest full of confidence just tells this outlandish -completely not made up, guys- story of things he totally achieved to very Intelligent people that they collectively know he's telling them a bold face lie. To be so confidently wrong.

Get more than 5 wizards together and someone is making a passing joke at Lorroakan's expense.

Also, he walked in Ramazith's Tower, said "squatters rights" and became pen pals with a cleric of Mystra so. He's pathetic.
