I've seen a lot of people hoping for a 3oT remake, and I get it because it's a popular game; but for a series that's almost 30 years old, a 9 year old game just isn't gonna get a remake. And if anything, the original Story of Seasons for 3DS should get one not simply because it's older but because it needs that attention... It ran really poorly due to the amount of things that would be on a map and was even slower than 3oT (which makes sense because they hadn't had as much time to work with that engine and hardware yet). (And I know 3oT could have also run better too.) Not to mention that it would be so nice to have all of it's mechanics streamlined and given QOL updates. If you've played a significant amount of SoS1, you know what I mean.

i got stardew valley expanded bc i wanted to try the romancable rasmodius mod which requires it and... while i really do think sdv benefits from a bigger map, sve is TOO big, man. and the grass outside of the farm is SOOO annoying. and the thing about custom npc's as well is that they don't feel very connected to the rest of the cast.... there are some other parts of the map i think are annoying as well. like, why are you using the immovable, indestructible rock object so much? why are you letting there be small areas that are unreachable because the bushes are too damn big? why is the forest so DAMN huge. going from one end of the map to the other takes way too long.
