Thing have been rocky for me the past few years, but 2025 was actually really good for me for the most part

I had to cut some people off and it was really, really hard. But I think I'm learning that sometimes it's for the best. You can't fix everyone, and you don't owe them infinite energy and attention, especially if you barely have any yourself.

My friends found a kitten and my boyfriend is now the loving father of a single cheesepuff

(personal ramble about art and comics and shit ahead)

for a really long time, I told myself and lots of people that I wanted to make a longform comic someday. The more time goes on though, the more I wonder if its just one of those things that I feel like I should do. Like, I want to want it, but don't really want it. I've not really made any progress towards a series, even though i've read lots of comics/webcomics and books about making them. A lot of times ive tried to sit down and make it happen it just kind of doesn't. I have some scripts, but they're all for fragments. I do think it would be fun to flesh those out someday, theyre fun. I really like doing smaller shit. Maybe longform just isnt it for me. For now, anyway.

Maybe let it go and see what happens, idk. Writing novels comes a lot more naturally for me I think.

I have figured out how to port various indie books/textfiles/fics into epubs/pdfs/whatever and [redacted] my e-ink reader from 2012 so i can read new shit on it now. ehehehehe

#calibre my beloved #e ink is underrated and i wish it was more popular #or maybe i just have big baby eyes that get tired out reading anything long form on a normal backlit screen #...#or maybe its the sensory autism #who is to say #ramblecroft #apparently they make e-ink readers with color now #they look so cool but are over 200 dollar :(#that would be so cool to read comics on though #or zines and stuff #ughhhh

I fear i am becoming addicted to Elden Ring. 29 hours and Ive played for 3ish days. :u How far i have come from moving 12 feet in Bloodborne, dying 45 times and earning a stress headache and a pained jaw (from clenching. in frustration)
