#rambling update

wip pages on their way!

given that i primarily use tumblr mobile w/ my ipad on account of my laptop being the technological equivalent to a cranky old witch, it’s not often that i can do any funky stuff in terms of editing blog themes and setting up fun pages. today, however, i have been forced to get the laptop out in order to get some stuff on my memory stick, and whilst i’m here (and struggling), i’m going to attempt to create something resembling a nice, smooth, easy-to-navigate wip page for all ye desktop users to access. yay!

Only a week left in my maternity leave. Time has flown.

I’ve kept my writing daily resolution but the daily writing has been small bursts. I swear the baby has a sense for when I’m sitting down to write and wakes up needing something almost every time!

Rewatched the first three seasons of Star Wars Rebels but can’t bring myself to watch the fourth.

Discovered the only Star Wars Movie I am missing somehow is Episode One which is a shame because Qui-Gon is one of my fave Jedi of all time.

I’ve got a a giant pile of drafts I need to move into the queue today or tomorrow so this. Log can stop being a quiet ghost town.

Been playing Horizon Zero Dawn on the easiest level because I’m doing it to inspire writing more than anything else. Going to focus on getting the next chapter of WwaV done before keeping on writing anything else.

I will post a chapter this week. That’s my goal.

I feel like i have been way less active on here lately, and the reason might be that i don't have accessed Tumblr from my work PC yet. No posting on the clock for me 😅

I am struggling a little bit with the transition to full time work, although i don't think my actual work time changed in a significant way the mental load of it is actually greater. I have a bit less energy and drive to keep you all my internet friends updated.

And the other thing is, there is no major updates! I am working full time on a project which basically just started so every paper is in the early stages, and it's a lot of running around in circles without yet reaching the goals.

Apart from work, with its ups and downs, it's going quite well. I started volunteering at the local bike workshop co-op, where people can come get help to fix issues with their bikes, and also i am trying to get a group ride going. Now that the weather is nice, my indoor hobbies have taken the second place in my priority list, while cycling is at the forefront. If the weather is good and i have a couple of hours, i am outside.

I have a lot of reworking with the Poppy group and finalizing some details so I'm gonna be doing that and then I'll probably rework some designs!

Made It Up North!

Starting our 3rd week at the new house this week. Unfortunately we can’t afford a lot of things right now as the job hunt has been a little disappointing. SO and I have been gymless for about a month now. I’m noticing some epic muscle loss which is really depressing. The gym here is really small and cute, and REALLY cheap, so as soon as we get jobs the work outs and cleaner eating will start. We went about a week and a half at the new house with no stove or fridge so we couldn’t even eat like, good food. Now that we have a stove and fridge, we don’t have any money to buy food. 

Again, unfortunately the lack of gym and real food has set me back big time on my quest to get in shape. I’m hoping I will be able to get into some kind of shape by November for try outs. We will see.

Made it up north!

We made it and have gotten unpacked. SO and I found a super cute gym downtown that we will probably join when we get jobs. We finally got a fridge in the house so now we just need a stove. Our lack of appliances has resulted in camping-like eating for the past week, so until we get a stove and a gym membership we will both be losing weight- fat and muscle. It will definitely be a set back in my quest to get in shape. Hope to sign at the gym at the end of the month, so maybe I can get back into shape by November for try outs. If not there is always next year but I want to play already!

I've been out all day and I bought more books bc I have no self control. ALSO I'm going to my grandmas with shitty Internet for a while so hopefully I can still post and talk to yall but we'll see
