I so enjoy the strong musky clove scent from these white blooms off my #RamblingRose #RamblingRector planted in 2017 purchased from @david_austin_roses. I have two Clematis growing from each end and so hopefully it will support each other. . It bears large heads of small, semi-double, creamy white flowers, which eventually fade to white. Each flower exhibits a cluster of pretty yellow stamens. They have a powerful musky clove scent and are produced in great abundance on strong, dense, twiggy growth. The flowers are followed by masses of small hips in the autumn. . Ramblers produce masses of small to medium-sized flowers held in large bunches, making them ideal for creating dramatic effect. With their height and flexibility they have a multitude of different uses: covering buildings and various garden structures, as well as rambling through trees. Although the majority of varieties are not repeat-flowering, many produce beautiful hips bringing autumnal colour and food for #wildlife. They can also be used as support for other climbers, such as Clematis viticella. . #gardenersofinstagram #gardeninglovers #gardeningphoto #gardening #gardeningisfun #gardeninglife #gardeningtips #gardeninglove #gardeningtime #gardening101 #gardeningfun #gardening_feature #gardeningday #gardener #garden #gardeningmakesmehappy #gardeningideas #gardening4pleasure #gardeningtherapy #gardeningislife #gardenlife #gardeningclass #gardens #gardeningaddict #flowers #wildlifeconservation #mygarden (at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzI3GYPgRBK/?igshid=djgkul3lho2s
