Ranchers but as formula one racers, Tango as a driver whos been racing for years and consistently been a second driver despite his insane talent, just an insanely unlucky career, who now is teammates with the rookie of Jimmy who won F2 the year before. Tango is mad because Jimmy took over the seat of one of his close friends who just had a shitty year (Zed, who still has a seat, just at a less prestigious team), and thinks Jimmy shouldv've started as a reserve driver (and also what right does this new young hotshot have being so cute in the first place?), and Jimmy thinks Tango is just bitter because he's had an unlucky career and is now barely beating out his rookie teammate.

Etho retired the year before and is now a team principal. Bdubs is a hotheaded driver, but gets good enough results to warrant the repair costs. Grian and Scar were at the same team their first year, but have since never shared a team, and neither of them are sure how to feel about it. Mumbo is Grian's tired race engineer who has to deal with his constant radio shenanigans.
