Stairway to Heaven ☆ Andy & Rami
Winds howled unforgiving, unfathomable storm clouds pelting rain down on all who dared to step outside and gamble with their wellbeing in the name of academics, those holding dedication, stupidity or a deplorable combination of the two. It was on such a day, relentless and dreary, that a surprise was to occur, holding benevolence as opposed to malice in a delightful juxtaposition of nature’s wrath -- and perhaps a first meeting known only to the two individuals it surrounded but that was neither here nor there. Having yet to transpire, a near scowl marred what could have been considered a remarkably attractive countenance as rain soaked through cloth right to the bone, such a sensation disagreeable when combined with a bout of shivers that was suppressed prior to visibility yet still experienced. During any other twenty-four hour period such calamity would have been ushered in to plans most diabolical -- corpses and rainstorms easily capable of clasping hands to create a mayhem so sublime. As it were opportunity was dashed by vexation, nimble digits pushing back wet hair as his dorm came into view, quiet curses uttered as another tremor ripped through. So close yet so far.
Upon pushing though the door to salvation a sight most unexpected met him, a flicker of something indiscernible brightening steel to sapphire. Syllables tumbled out in a caress as a step toward Rami was made. “My my, look who we have here.” A tilt of the head accompanied the slightest upturn of his lips, faint but present as a scan of the common room was made. They were alone currently but it would not remain so in such an environment indicating a relocation should be executed posthaste, gaze falling back to reside within it’s usual intensity toward the other male. “Perhaps the human idiom is right, it is a small world.”
