Would you or any of your followers be able to parse what the "Combating glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance" proposal actually said and suggest why the west has so many abstains? I would look but I am bad at reading these kinds of documents. And I would love to have some sort of explaination.

Apparently they didn’t support it because it was supported by Russia and China.

Please forgive any ignorance, but why should white people put that in their bio?

Generally, there are plenty of people of color who might not want to interact with white people (in a kinda similar way that gay people might not want to interact with straight people). Their might be times where I have posts I’m not comfortable with white people interacting with/reblogging/commenting on. It just makes things easier.

I also think it’s just good to put out there, because being white definitely influences your world view. It’s not a negative thing to put white in your bio, its just acknowledging your privilge and a part of who you are and makes things easier for people of color imo.

If any bloggers of color have another point, feel free to add it!

I do have two:

1) In his quest for power, he could have tried some unusual kinds of magic. Maybe this is why he got banished and had to flee to the surface? Why he needed such power is up to you but I like the idea of an old rivalry with another tyrant…

2) For a less evil/ambitious reason: I’d say he met some people from the surface (maybe when he was young, before his powers were fully developped?) and he was driven by curiosity? A sorcerer who showed him the basics?

Anyway… I love the concept. Just imagine all the wind howling in the tunnels…

Does that mean religious views, political views, gender, sexual orientation, if you are trans or not should also be in the bio?

I generally see most folks put gender, pronouns, sexuality, and sometimes religion (mostly I see this among folks who aren’t christian). I would generally lean towards yes for those, I usually onlt see polictical views on blog that talk about politics a lot. If you really don’t want to diclose information, you don’t have to but it’s generally appreciated.

If you didn't already know there is a site called Election Atlas, and it shows election results as far back as 1962. It includes both federal and Provincial results. Results can even be viewed by polling station(at least for 2015).
