oh my god, I feel you so much! the 25th anniversary is brilliant! Like the entire cast is fantastic. okay, I don't like Nick Jonas as Marius, but that's mainly because he looks constipated whenever he's not looking at anyone, (which happens quite often, since it's a concert and all). But except from that, the 25th is brilliant!

Someone had asked if Gerard was my favorite Phantom. Unfortunately, my inbox thought it was spam and deleted it so I'll answer here.

No, Gerard is not my favorite Phantom. I did think he did a good job. Considering he was not unprofessionally trained, I was impressed. Of course, he is not the best Phantom. A majority of the Phantoms were better than him. I can never say he's my favorite or the best though. Pretty sure Ramin Karimloo took that place for me. Gerard was a good Phantom for the movie. He would never make it as a Phantom on stage but he could for a movie. He had the right appeal for that particular audience. He will never be able to stand up against the likes of performers such as Ramin but that's because they are experienced stage performers. If I'm going to be honest, I have a soft spot for all of the portrayals of the Phantom. There's something unique and amazing about all of them. So, no, Gerard is not my favorite, not even in my top five, but I do appreciate his work and still enjoy his performance.
