Rams have not heard from Tre Mason in 7 months

Rams running back Tre Mason could be going downhill

The Los Angeles Rams have not heard from Tre Mason since the 2015 season ended, which is not very good. 

Team officials told ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Adam Kaplan on Tuesday that they have tried to contact Mason on several occasions but had no luck. The Rams know he was arrested in March for possession of marijuana and other charges, but they have not been in touch with him directly for roughly seven months.

He was drafted by the Rams in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Auburn.

Rams special teams coach saved the life of a man drowning

Rams special teams coordinator saved the life of a man drowning at Manhattan Beach

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Jon Fassel, the son of former head coach Jim, and the current Special Teams Coordinator for the Rams was boogie-boarding near Manhattan Beach in the Pacific Ocean this past Wednesday and joined forces with another surfer, Jim Burton, to rescue an unidentified man from drowning in a riptide, on the final day of Burton’s vacation. 

Me and Jim said he was less than 30 seconds away from not being able to hang in there. But it all happened so fast. Major kudos to Burton, the Manhattan Beach lifeguards and fire department paramedics. It was seriously amazing how fast they got on the scene. When we got him in, and he had the help he needed, we were high-fiving and celebrating.

Responding staff said the job that Fassel and Burton did was amazing and a commendable and courageous act of altruism.

Manhattan Beach acting battalion chief Derek Edmonds told Adam Schefter that paramedics transported the rescued man to a local hospital for further evaluation. The man also received IV fluids, medication and electrocardiogram exams when he was pulled ashore.

The St. Louis Rams fans do not want to go to Los Angeles, but that did not stop Janoris Jenkins for speaking about the matter. SB Nation writer James Dator caught the video of Janoris Jenkins pointing out: “I [bleep]ing love [bleep]ing L.A.”

Not only does Jenkins “f***cking love f***cking L.A.,” but “he’s sold” on the area.

This probably was not the smartest thing to say, but Jenkins somehow usually finds a way to mess up everything.

Rams fans chant "LA Rams" as a Racetrack was destroyed today for a new Stadium

Rams fans were cheering as a racetrack was blown up this morning

This morning several explosions went off at 6 a.m. to Hollywood Park racetrack. According to ABC Channel 7, St. Louis Rams fans were out cheering and chanting “L.A. Rams,” hoping and wishing to bring their team to the site.

The city of Inglewood approved plans to build an 80,000-seat football stadium on this site in anticipation of the Rams moving back to L.A.

Rams have hired former 49ers quarterback Jeff Garcia as an offensive assistant

Jeff Garcia the former 49ers quarterback has been hired as an offensive assistant by the Rams

According to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Rams hired Jeff Garcia as an offensive assistant. Garcia recently interviewed with the Rams for their vacant quarterback coach position but was beaten out by Chris Weinke.  

The Rams are trying to put veteran quarterbacks around Nick Foles, and I think it is a very smart move.  The more Foles can learn the better, and both of these veterans have seen quite a bit in their career.
