According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Dallas Cowboys are kicking the tires on potentially signing Foles. Werder also concludes that the team is looking into potential trades for a veteran.

Foles is the best option available this time. The Rams were forced to release him after no team showed interest in trading for the struggling veteran.

That lack of interest makes sense considering Foles led the league’s worst passing attack last season with the Rams. Overall, the former Pro Bowler put up just seven touchdowns and 10 picks in 11 starts.

Rams have not heard from Tre Mason in 7 months

Rams running back Tre Mason could be going downhill

The Los Angeles Rams have not heard from Tre Mason since the 2015 season ended, which is not very good. 

Team officials told ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Adam Kaplan on Tuesday that they have tried to contact Mason on several occasions but had no luck. The Rams know he was arrested in March for possession of marijuana and other charges, but they have not been in touch with him directly for roughly seven months.

He was drafted by the Rams in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Auburn.

Rams will face the 49ers in China in 2018

The Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers are going to face each other to start the 2018 NFL season.  They will not play in California though, they will be across seas.

Don Muret of Sports Business Daily reported the news:

The 49ers will play the Rams in a regular-season game in China in ’18, according to sources. It will most likely serve as the Rams’ home opener, although no date has been determined, sources said.

I love this idea, and with China getting their own Arena Football League this year, by 2018 their fans are going to be ready for the NFL.

Six Rams will star on a new series called Hollywood & Football

You have all heard of Basketball Wives, and Hard Knocks but there is a new reality TV show that is going to be airing soon.  According to CNN Money, Hollywood and Football is to showcase the transition from St. Louis to the fast paced Los Angeles.

The six players who will take place in the series are Kenny Britt, Lance Kendricks, Rodger Saffold, Bradley Marquez, Chase Reynolds and Cory Harkey.

“We are excited to take viewers inside the exclusive lifestyles of these top athletes and their families as they navigate a new city, new friendships, new schools and the inevitable Hollywood gossip,” Jeff Olde, E!’s executive vice president of programming & development, said in a statement.

May 12th is here and veteran free agents are starting to receive phone calls. That is because they do not count against the compensatory picks formula. Today the Los Angeles Rams are flying in Dashon Goldson the former 49ers safety for a visit.

The team already worked out Donte Whitner, who is still available as well.  If the team does sign a veteran it will not mess up their compensatory picks for the 2017 NFL Draft. You will see more free agents getting workouts in the next couple days.
