★ Wingding the Shiny Pelipper ★

I was resetting to try and start a pokeradar chain for Togepi during ranch week and found this on the first encounter of the chain!!!

I named it Wingding (which can also mean celebration ?) because I submitted my graduate application minutes before this encounter (and token wing name for bird), so this shiny feels like a celebration of my first steps towards going back to school :,)

RANCH WEEK

I'm going to be hunting unown for ranch week to help towards completing the keyboard but idk if I should start with the guaranteed encounter FRIEND ones or some that are more random :/

while I was watching the ranch week stream, sage (the shiny budew I submitted the first ranch week) became the camera's focus for a while!! I was hoping that I'd catch one of my pokemon as the focus on stream( ◠‿◠ )

I feel like it's a little silly to be so happy about something like this, but I think it's because it's something that shows tangible connection to the shiny hunting community, which I still struggle with entering (in terms of interacting with other hunters) bc of my social anxiety :,) it makes me feel a little less lonely in that sense

I hope that I'm able to catch wingding and eggnog on the stream sometime also!!!

★ Miracle the Shiny Togepi ★

Didn't manage to find it yesterday before the end of Ranch Week, but I kept going with the hunt today and (after failing ANOTHER shiny, a Togepi that used Double-Edge when it had one hp left) finally found it :D I named him Miracle to denote my happiness that I was able to reclaim the shiny so quickly

I hope to get another shiny Togepi to evolve into a Togetic next Ranch Week :3c

i did a pokeradar hunt on a whim today bc i wanted to take part in an event called Ranch Week and i managed to catch TWO(!!!) shiny baby slugs. here is Love and his sister Cute. cute (#MyCute) even grew up into a big slug.
