Hello and welcome to what at least three separate sessions of nonstop Pokéradar chaining looks like! This all started when I decided to set up my diamond save file to have a TID/SID combo that is compatible with the Cute Charm glitch, assuming a male lead. So obviously if that save file was about to be full of shinies, I needed a shiny cute charmer to bring along!

I quickly realized that other than Lopunny, every single Cute Charmer in gen 4 has a 25/75 M/F ratio, so I decided to hunt Buneary in Eterna Forest for the hopes of a male cute charmer.

But! I made a mistake my first session and didn't bring a Pokémon with trace, so I couldn't tell which of these funny bunnies had run away (which would turn into Cute Charm upon evolution). so... I phased, in a Pokéradar hunt, which I didn't think was very possible. I went through 10 Buneary before I found Bugs, a male with run away. After some spa days, massages, EV training, tons of vitamins, and running around, I was able to evolve him into Lopunny. Now he's ready for his adventure in Pokémon Diamond, where he'll bring out many shiny friends!

As setting up the Cute Charm save was just for fun and is an exploit not a method, I won't be posting about it much on this blog, if at all. But cool nonetheless!

hi i had corsola swarm today (well technically yesterday now in my timezone but u get the point) and i shiny hunted them with the pokeradar since i had a decent stockpile of dive balls from the news press guy and the colors match perfectly + when else am i gonna get shiny corsola in platinum, it's swarm exclusive

i kind of want to trade one away but idk what i’d want for it or how i wanna go about that so i’d have to think about it

★ Miracle the Shiny Togepi ★

Didn't manage to find it yesterday before the end of Ranch Week, but I kept going with the hunt today and (after failing ANOTHER shiny, a Togepi that used Double-Edge when it had one hp left) finally found it :D I named him Miracle to denote my happiness that I was able to reclaim the shiny so quickly

I hope to get another shiny Togepi to evolve into a Togetic next Ranch Week :3c
