@ranchermade​ ;  ' i guess i shouldn't be surprised. ' ( HELLO )

               it  was  nice  to  see  a  familiar  face  on  the  dutton  ranch .  the  last  time  she  was  in  montana , they  were  lacking  ranch  hands  .  and  of  course ,  she  started  off  helping  until  her  move  to  texas  to  help  travis  with  the  horses  and  making  a  name  for  herself  and  gambit .  there  was  no  small  town  rodeos  for  her  anymore .   she  held  gambit’s  reins  behind  her  back  as  she  stood  next  to  eli .  “  what ?  that  i’d  find  my  way  here ?  “  harper  questioned ,  turning  her  attention  towards  him .  “  i  could  say  the  same  thing .  this  place  seems  to  draw  in  talent  when  it  comes  to  horses   and  cattle . “  her  lips  formed  into  a  smile .  “  nice  to  see  you  too ,  eli .  “

           @ranchermade​ liked for a yellowstone starter! 

                     the woods on her property needed a good bush hogging. the ground had finally decided to sprout here and there allowing the pathways to be hidden. the reigns in her hands are relaxed as she let mister come to a slow gait, letting the old boy out every once in a while was good for him. he’d served her for a while now, hell of a race horse now on his last few years. if it had been her damn daddies choice (thank whoever he was dead now), mister would’ve died pretty soon after his last race. 

                      “ is it me, or is your back bonier? “   a loud huff is heard and there at the curl of her lips is a grin, one saved for only her animals. “ ah, you’re right its just my boney ass.” 

                        a soft snap of some twigs and her attention is zeroed in, the horse not but a few yards away carrying a man. her features warp into a begrudged look, brows cocked like a shotgun. 

                       “ you lost or somethin’ ? “
