Light. Sunlight. It has been a long, long time since Mikey had seen natural light, and it was bright. Very bright.
The outside looked much different than any far, far memories he had. Mikey pondered for a moment if his memories were false, even dreams, perhaps.
Mikey was unfamiliar to the tall stone walls and the strange critters of goo that bounced around and made noise. Above the light shone in between the wall and the ceiling that stuck only part of the way across.
There he stood in the shadow casted by the tall walls. He looked in awe, excitement, and… hesitation.
He almost looked human, though the lower half of him looked as if it were composed of a dark liquid, and a inky masked hid his face.
He was a little transparent
