Most people are not irrational.
They are perfectly rational animals,
just using thought in the service of instinct.
Rationality is a luxury of the well-fed organism. It’s not essence. It’s surplus.
Randy's pic, my words, volume 4? lol
Country view:
Visions planted in the sky,
riding down thy country lane.
Bouffant clouds fly majestically,
like portraits on a window pane.
Gazing through the very soul
of the clear that's breaking through.
Translucency is plain to see,
I find it both, in white and blue.
Clouds now form a butterfly,
I spy the candy cotton wings.
And now transforms, angelically,
into one of many other things.
Eyes now lowered to the ground,
a field of golden, blowing grass.
A house stands proud, illustrious,
forgetting battles from the past.
An old barn with a makeover,
new roof and timbers, reinforced.
From nearby valley countryside,
where likely lumber was resourced.
Horses gallop in the fields,
care not given to the world.
Mane laid back as head held high,
never knowing it was furled.
Mountain in the distant view,
separating sky from earth.
Priceless is this photograph,
priceless is what this view is worth.mk
