Even though I’m Asian and can’t grow facial hair worth a damn, I still like to humor myself shaving my upper lip. At least then I can pretend I have stubble.

My Dearest Followers, See? I've finally decided to log onto Tumblr again after a one-year hiatus, almost to the day, apparently. Anyway, expect similar things to happen; I'm lazy and have little motivation to maintain a blog. Speaking of blogs, you've probably noticed that I've made a few changes to this one. Instead of being just a Harry Potter blog, I've decided to create a little multi-use one. Despite my claim that it's for multifandom and LGBTQ+ posts, expect the occasional (read: frequent) post that fits into neither of these categories. Also, I plan on remodeling my blog a bit during the next little while, just to warn if something is one way one minute and another the next. One more thing, too: if I can access Tumblr from my computer, I may start posting poems/oneshots/the occasional (read: unlikely) multiple-part story here as well. The reason I say "if I can access" is because my parents wish to invade my privacy and have placed that Windows Family Safety thing on my computer account, which blocks me from some social media and not others. If I can't get on through there then don't expect many pictures/gifs/videos either, unless they're reposts. Love you guys, Rebbie

So tonight Aaron was watching Hot in Cleveland with me. Elka kept threatening to get paint to throw on a woman’s fur coat. In the middle of the episode Aaron looks at me and goes, “Do you have a fur coat?”

I looked over to the coat closet and he got up and pulled out a hanger where the garment is covered in a protective bag. “Wait is this a fur?” he asked as he laid it down on the love seat.

“Yes, this is a family heirloom. I never wear it.” I take it out of the protective bag and show him the mink cape that belonged to my Great Grandmother, that was passed down to my Mother, and then to me upon her passing.

“If I wore a sports coat, would you wear the cape when we went out?”

“No Aaron, I’m not going to wear this out into the world.” I tell him as I start to put it back in its bag, along with the note I had placed on it so that my Step-Mom wouldn’t give it away (she had already given away a bunch of my clothes when I was off at college my first semester and I was pissed when I found out) before putting it back in the closet.
