Every 2 hours ON THE DOT - Cute little blurb

warnings: really not much. sending nudes is discussed. some gossip. just a random little thing that popped in my head

Everyone was dying to know who he was, but you wouldn't even give up a crumb of a clue. They know you started dating someone 2 months ago, you told them that much. You also told them how the two of you are just enjoying each other and and establishing your new relationship on your own terms, before you let outside influence in.

Every day Princess, Perlah, or Trinity would try to breach that secret...just a first name...thats all they wanted. You would not budge. The soft and comfy cocoon of your brand new, budding relationship was to cozy to leave just yet.

Everyone was curious, just not as forward as the aforementioned Pitt Crew. How you actually managed to keep it a secret for this long was actually beyond you. It was clearly a miracle...you must have done something right in a previous life.

You were sitting in the break room munching on piece of Trinity's pizza crust while the four of you girls fall into your normal break time (when they actually get one) conversations.

"You mean to tell me you don't send nudes?" Princess asks Perlah, looking at her with wide eyes, like she had just been slapped in the face.

"He can see it when I get home. I dont have time around here to take nudes" She answers back with a sarcastic exaggerated sigh.

"Pfft...boring" You say, taking a sip of your soda to swallow the pizza crust down with.

"Oh Really?? Miss Secret Boyfriend...you send nudes? some tiddy pictures?? lil lip?" Santos asks, trying not to laugh at your face.

"Jesus Trin!" You say before letting out a loud barking laugh causing the 4 of your to erupt into giggles. After a minute or two of snorts and wheezing, you finally calmed down and went back to your naughty gossip.

"But yeah...I mean...yeah. He loves my body....and I like to tease. So naturally i send him something every 2 hours as close as I can get TO the hour starting at 7:30 am....almost every single day" You say with a proud smile.

Their mouths drop open and Princess starts a slow clap. The other two join in and you stand and take several overdramatic bows.

It wasn't until later that day, around 1:35 when Robby's phone dinged, that Perlah started to put it together. The timing, the smirk when he noticed who it was, the wide eyes and the blush that followed when he actually opened the text.

She had no way to prove it, so she threw her theory at Princess and moved on. 3:29pm hit and there it was again: DING.

Both Princess and Perlah's head shot up looking directly at Robby who was pulling his phone out of his pocket with an expectant grin. "Trin!" Princess whisper yells, getting Trinitys attention.

She approaches the ladies at central and they quickly whisper their theory to her. "Bullshit"" She says with a scoff.

"MMhmm...bullshit my ass...just wait till 530" Perlah says with a raised eyebrow.

When 5:30 rolled around, Trinity was standing with Robby going over labs from an elderly syncopal patient in North 5. His phone DINGED and Trinity jumped. Robby didn't react this time. He kept going over the labs with her. The customary 2 minutes went by and his phone DINGED again signaling he had an unopened text.

"You gotta look at that?" Trinity asked, with a smirk and a raised eyebrow.

Robby quirked his head and then nodded in understanding, taking his phone out, tapping the lock screen to "see who it was" and then put it back in his pocket. "Its important but i have a couple more minutes. lets finish with this patient" He says, like Trinity didn't just see Your first name and the nickname KITTY on his lock screen with the words "photo attached"

Possible unpopular opinion:

We need more scenes with McKay and Santos. Not in a shipping sense, but a mentorship sense.

Hear me out.

First impressions are everything. Al-Hashimi did not leave a good one with Santos, glaringly so. Collins is gone. Mohan is gone. I'm thinking they are going to nurture the fledgling "friendship" between herself and King. Besides, Santos is only 1 year behind her.

And we all know about Langdon.

That really only leaves McKay. I think it's an entirely slept on dynamic:

- McKay is a natural teacher.

- She is patient, kind, nurturing, and knowledgeable. AND won't hesitate to call you out on your shit.

- Santos appears to not respond well to authority figures in general, and (most?) men in particular.

- She loves medicine and it is so obvs she's chomping at the bit to learn, to be taught, to be guided. To be taken under someone's wing. Most importantly, to be taken seriously.

- Once Santos ditches her initial prickly demeanor, I think their energies would complement each other exceedingly well.

- Santos needs to trust someone. Have someone to look up to. To me, McKay is the most stable person in that ER. She fits the bill better than anyone else there.

This is just off the top of my head. I'm sure I could go on lol.

How many scenes have they worked together on a case? I bet less than 5 between 2 seasons 😲

That is a missed opportunity if I ever saw one.

I was today years old when I found out that Steven McQueen who plays Jeremy is second cousin to Enrique Iglesias, the super famous Spanish singer??? Like ? 😭😭 that's so random but I love when i find out that celebrities are related, idk why. i think it makes them feel more human in a way.

am i the only one who finds it HILARIOUS that Darius from TOH is the same VA as Horde Prime and all the other clones in SPOP? Like- Darius is trying to stop an evil witch hunter that wants to commit genocide. But Horde Prime IS the dictator (basically) in SPOP. I thought that was funny. Also, they're both muscled and pull of heels FLAWLESSLY
