As a writer and reader I am very tired of the young and sexy immortal trope. I would very much like to see a male vampire that's like 400 years old and actually acts like it. Maybe he's a history professor who is pissed off that no one believes he has a PhD because he looks young and instead of being a mysterious bad boy he just spends all of his time in a library and actually acts like a grumpy old man. I think that would be very cool and sexy.

I would relate to him.
