Is it too early to start knitting my halloween sweater

#I’m going to answer my own question and say yes #bc I don’t even have the yarn #and I have like a million other things I need to finish first #plus its too hot to knit a sweater now #but I think I will buy the yarn soon and make sure everything is good before actually starting #now the question is do I buy it all at once or just a few skeins to test the colourwork 🤔#smart thing would be only a few now bc if its not working out and I need completely different yarn I don’t want to be stuck with a bunch of #random colours #I’m not even the biggest Halloween stan but I saw this sweater and fell in love so now it must be mine

Recently I've been doing some limited palette paintings using a box of spare watercolour half pans. I jumble them all up, pick two with my eyes closed, then try to paint something with them. This is cadmium red and viridian which is a pretty... festive combination. I was slightly horrified when I first pulled them out, but I'm quite pleased with the result.

I wanna try to get more colours into my general art, especially for lights and shadows. I think this is a nice place to start. Never had so much fun drawing eyes lol
