It has never happened to me before, but few days ago, I’ve first dreamed about a certain composition that I wanted to paint. It wasn’t a picture I saw before that day, it was a new composition that I haven’t seen or drawn before. So I got up, tried to remember as much details as I could, and decided to try painting it to see how it will come up. It isn’t anything scandalous or revolutionary, but it was fun. And I have no explanation for any of these things, lol. But I’m sure there’s some asian influence (the mountains reminded me of graphic works of views on Fuji by Hokusai) and Egyptian too (could these mountains be also pyramids? I have no fucking idea). Also every single person from the bottom part had a face, but I couldn’t remember it anymore and just made this stylized experiment. Even though it doesn’t look like faces anymore, lol

Dati, akala ko madali ang umibig parang kending puno ng tamis. Maliit na bagay lang kaya ka nang pangitiin. Basta't masaya siya ay masaya kana rin.

Ngayon, parang mali ang aking intindi. Kahit matamis laging mauubos at mauubos din. Ang dating maliit lagi nang pinapalaki. Hindi na siguro kayang ibalik ang lahat sa dati.

Wag na nating ipilit kung ito'y puno na ng sakit. Kalayaan ko sana'y wag mo nang ipagkait. Masakit man sa akin ngunit kailangang limutin. Mahal, paalam na sa atin.
