But Sprixies don’t age by year, they age by influence. Until their full set of wings come in, aka, they 'start their path into adulthood’, their magic can cause a young Sprixie’s age to fluctuate based on how they feel or what they subconsciously really want. A Sprixie could have lived 50 years and still look and act like a 10-year-old. For all intents and purposes, they are. Alternatively, a Sprixie could already have fully matured at 10 years of life, but that is not really an occurrence that happens given the Sprixies’ long LONG lives. Once a Sprixie has started to fully mature, their magic settles and their age will stop fluctuating. Lily aged like a mortal child because that is the environment they grew up in, with a wish that Haru and Reine would see her grow up and live life with them too.
