Karlie being funny as usual who knew a 5 year old NY Giants fan would be so into Lawrence Taylor he’d rock his Jersey to his 5th birthday party
Two clear pics of Taylor on the back of his jersey. What a random silly thing to do. Lol

Karlie posting this IG reel 2 hours before Taylor’s announcement is insane on many levels. Especially using Cranberries- Dreams as the song. Insane.
“Minding my business, staying hydrated 💧” such a specific thing to say.
Taylor’s letter filled with talk of dreams coming true:
“All the times I daydreamed about , wished for, and pined away for a chance to get to tell this news.”
“To say this is my greatest dream come true is actually being pretty reserved about it.”
“This was a business deal to them but I really felt like they saw it for what it was to me: my memories and my sweat and my handwriting and my decades of dreams.”
The key here is how she wanted to own her work. No strings attached.
“All I ever wanted was the opportunity to work hard enough to be able to one day purchase my music outright with no strings attached, no partnerships, with full autonomy.”
Karlie “Minding [her] business” as Taylor shares news that her business making dreams have come true. And in that letter explains how perfect Reputation was and why she couldn’t bring herself to re-record it. The album she called a love story hidden underneath all the rage. And Karlie using Dreams by the Cranberries a love song on this waking up fresh face skincare video.
All my music videos.
All the concert films.
The album art and photography.
Truly insane way to end the month of May.
🤡.
The timing of all of this is something else lol
Karlie invite to the wedding
I knew it I knew you being a song about Love having ways of bringing things back to life. ☁️
Taylor’s caption made me think of fresh out the slammer the “Coming home” concept and the childhood memories.
Naming a song Elizabeth Taylor is something of note…middle names. She loves a middle name moment
Seeing Elizabeth Taylor reminded me of this bit with Stephen Colbert where she’s explaining that songwriting is all about the details and includes “Your middle name is Tyrone.”
For context Karlie’s middle name is Elizabeth.
Yes I am aware Elizabeth Taylor is a real person lol. Taylor also pointed that out in the podcast lol. I also note that this is another example of reputation relation back because …Ready For It? has the ol’ reliable lyric “Burton to this Taylor every love I’ve known in comparison is a failure.”
But I’ll take her at her word these 12 songs are all from this most recent tour…
I need to walk this thought trail out
The color scheme for this i-D issue is the same as TLOAS
Karlie shares the i-D mag cover post on her IG story as well as a quote from the interview where “searching for it” is underlined
“sometimes you make things to escape to, and sometimes you make that explain what it’s like to be here now… A dedication to searching for it. Loving all the meandering paths you take to finding that thing.”
And that particular quote is photo 8/9 in the ig post from I-D
The i-D mag ig caption specifically mentions the famous interview Jack did with Marc Maron where he says he prefers to work with gay women after talking about Taylor. An interview that has been taken off of YouTube it seems so you have to search for it (included a clip of it here)
And Jack reposting the one eye cover that has the tag line “You don’t know Jack” and his response “you (🍅) actually do”
And Karlie making sure to preflood her IG story with family stuff and a pic of her hullabaloo looking thrilled as always (not enough space to add his pic here) so people searching for the IG story sharing the I-D mag post will be reminded that she has a family yadayadayada.
It’s just all so …interesting
Just because I feel like walking through this lyric and album thought trail…
So crazy for Taylor to end Midnights era with hits different which has the closing verse that says
I heard your key turn in the door down the hallway. Is that your key in the door? Is it okay? Is it you? Or have they come to take me away? To take me away.
And then she starts the TTPD era with fortnight which opens with the lyrics:
I was supposed to be sent away. But they forgot to come and get me.
And she closes TTPD standard version with Clara Bow which is the story of different generations of starlet musicians who get adored and then tossed aside for a newer and the song ends with the lyrics:
"You look like Taylor Swift in this light. We're loving it. You've got edge she never did. The future's bright... Dazzling.”
Additionally Taylor ends the TTPD anthology with the manuscript which includes the closing lyrics:
Lookin' backwards might be the only way to move forward. Then the actors were hitting their marks. And the slow dance. Was alight with the sparks. And the tears fell in synchronicity with the score. And at last. She knew what the agony had been for…
The only thing that's left is the Manuscript. One last souvenir from my trip to your shores. Now and then I reread the manuscript. But the story isn't mine anymore.
Then she starts the Life of a Showgirl era…where everything feels like a performance. And her opening track music video The fate of Ophelia takes place on a movie set and the actor’s name is Kitty Finlay.
And then she ends the album with this fictitious story of a person meeting a showgirl named Kitty who tells a young starlet the truth about going into this career…and after Sabrina and Taylor go through this conversation in character, it ends with the sound bite from the end of the actual Eras Tour with Taylor and Sabrina talking to crowd:
Thank you for an unforgettable night. We will see you next time. Give it up for the band. And the dancers. And of course, Sabrina. I love you, Taylor. That's our show. We love you so much. Goodnight!
She ends the song as if it is the end of the performance. The entire era is the final product of the Manuscript for the journey of a starlet as set forth in Clara Bow. A very contained story that uses the bookends to really solidify it.
It is truly interesting that she included the Eras Tour in the Life of a Showgirl era and then released the docuseries still in this era…
What a journey.
it’s all part of the fucking story, I guess. (Tablecloth from October 11, 2016 outing)
Pure clown behavior from Karlie this weekend
Taylor’s letter let’s talk about reputation.
Taylor was explaining the depth of reputation in this letter. She repeats what she laid out in list form in the section where she explains why she couldn’t remake reputation. It was the realest thing she made. She made the music videos. She intentionally planned the photography. She handwrote the lyrics. She planned the ALBUM ART. She controlled the final version of the reputation stadium tour film with all of its Easter eggs. She also used the word “hatch” in this section to describe the vault tracks. If you guys remember reputation it was layered with so much. I think she was emphasizing how intentional she was with everything that was associated with reputation.
There’s more but I reached the picture limit.
