Maybe it’s just my Southern roots, but I will always have a soft spot for a cleaned-up cowgirl look. A pair of clean boots, a wild rag tied in a buckaroo knot around the neck, good jeans, and a nice sweater or button-up, along with some jewelry, always make for a great outfit in my opinion. I've noticed a recent surge in popularity for this style, and I'm thrilled that it has become widely embraced. This style is my go-to for family events. Do you think you could pull off cowgirl chic, or should the boots stay at the rodeo?

They say you can stuff a jar with twenty wishes. Any colour. Any shape. Any size. But wishes are tricky things. They're the half-chewed gum that's stuck to the sole of your boot. They're the coffee stains just hidden beneath your coaster. They're the misty post-shower dew clinging to the bathroom mirror. Wishes are never wishes. Wishes are regrets, wishes are obsessions, wishes are smoking birthday candles, wishes are earnest coins tossed into shallow fountains, wishes are cued kisses shot in white and gold and sometimes wishes are dreams.
