I’m so sad bc back when I was still surfing I met a lot of cool people. But in particular I met this cool dude who gave me a stussy tie dye shirt that he dyed himself (amongst other stussy tchotchkes bc he worked there).

I’ve basically been wearing it as my lounge shirt ever since and now it’s finally so worn out that I have to throw it away.

I literally met him once lmao. I never got his contact information and I never saw him again.

It’s funny how these small interactions from complete strangers can stay with you years later. I think a lot of people tend to overlook these interactions but I’ve always found them endearing and keep them close to my heart. There was no reason for him to do any of that except out of kindness. He gave me a memorable gift that reminds me of a time in my life that I loved and he probably doesn’t even know that.
