Mmmmmmmm solo hero fallen hero au:

-regenes are still a thing but they’re the only thing that resulted in super powers so they’re kept a secret so the government can keep their super soldier edge

-sidestep still escapes and eventually becomes a vigilante

-ortega (im using julia for simplicity’s sake and cause im gay) finds them half dead in alleyway by her apartment and decides this wet stray cat of a person lives here now

-maybe they room together, maybe they’re coworkers, maybe they’re friends who meet up a could times a month but step eventually meets anathema and chen

-anathema ends up step’s second favorite person and chen… is chen and they dont get along very well cause yeah step acts more than a little suspicious but they can tolerate each other at least a little bit

-anyway yeah step eventually starts goomg out to fight crime (i think itd be cute if they were inspired by super hero movies) and they try even harder than in canon to keep under the radar cause its be so easy for the farm to find them if they slip up

-and yknow maybe thats how things stay forever, step is able to help people and never get found, they get to live the life they wanted and everything is fine…

-…but i think we all know they’re eventually found out, and the farm comes for them, and anathema dies in the crossfire and its all their fault, and now they’re back in hell again

-and this time when they get out they cant stop themself, as much as they wish they could be the person they used to be step is too hurt to stop themself from lashing out and in a world like this, without widespread psychic blockers, its so easy to hurt the world and those around them, to be the monster they believe themself

-and it feels so good to embrace the monstrosity they were made to be, and no matter how hard they try and hold themself back from going too far, from hurting people who don’t deserve it, there’s always that voice in the back of their head telling them to take that final step, that they wanted a monster and step could shown them just how much of a monster they can be

-meanwhile julia knows, she saw step at that dinner and they told her about their powers in the years they lived together and really who else could this villain be. but despite everything theyre doing and ortega’s rational brain telling them to call the police and turn them in… all she wants is for them to come home…

anyway yea im done now its 4am and i got sleep to not have b0-0d

You know what I would like?

I would like it if Sims would generate as fit or fat, along with the “normal” body shape. Since I’m a person who’s perfectly content to let the game make all of her Sims that aren’t actually born in the game, it’d be nice to have that kind of variety amongst the townies. I wonder if that could somehow be modded in? Not that *I* could do it, of course. My modding skills are very, very meager. But it would be cool if it could be...

trans ben au where part of the reason ben luvs feedback so much is because feedback’s dna sample came from a woman and the omnitrix doesn’t change feedback’s gender to be ben’s bio/assigned one. of course feedback is ben’s favorite, they’re cool, they’re powerful, and ben just feels… right when she he transforms into them.

rise!venus who is desperate to fit in with the rest of her new found family.

the explosion separated her from splinter and her siblings, but it was ok because she was found by her dad. they didn’t have much, but they had each other, he taught her kung fu for if she ever needed to defend herself, and let her have pizza every now and then if she was good. and sure she didn’t get out much on account of the whole being a bipedal turtle thing, but that’s what the internet is for, who needs real life friends when online ones are just as good.

and then her dad dies. maybe its the foot or the krang’s attack, maybe it was just an accident or illness, but it doesn’t matter her only family is gone now and she’s alone.

but its ok, because it turns out she isn’t. she has more family, blood family, a father and four brothers, and when they finally find each other they’re excited to meet her and she’s ecstatic to not be alone anymore.

things are different with her new family. they’re loud, and fight bad guys, and go on adventures in a city filled with people like them. its so different from life with her dad but she can try and fit in. her brothers are named after painters? well they can call her venus like that statue she saw online once. they’re loud? well she can try and match them in their antics and hijinks. they fight badguys? well she can try and keep up, she might not be as good as everyone else but her dad taught her how to defend herself and splinter is teaching her more so she can follow after them and help where she can.

and its fun to hangout with her brothers, and she loves being a hero with all of them, she does. but something always feels off, they don’t click perfectly when they’re fighting together, she doesn’t get all their in jokes, splinter is her father but he isn’t her dad… but she’s trying and it has to get better eventually right?

and then it turns out she has another missing sibling, a sister, jenika. she was with big mama originally, but now she’s with them, she’s home, right?

jenika is different from everyone in venus’ family. she’s abrasive, she doesn’t really want to be with them, and she’s always getting into fights with her brothers. jenika can fight with the boys just fine (better than venus can), but she only really seems to get along with april and her…

…but that doesn’t mean her sister spares her any venom when she learns how venus changed her name, doesn’t stop jenika from telling her how pathetic she is for trying to shape herself to better match her family, doesn’t stop her from telling her how venus, how both of them will never fit in with their brothers and father, how they can’t fit, how they aren’t really family…

…but its ok. because while venus may not have been raised a hamato, and their blood still runs through her veins. she might not click perfectly when fighting but when it comes to her family’s mystic powers she’s turned out to be a natural. ever since they told her about it she’s just had the ability to use it, she didn’t fumble around like her brothers initially did trying to gain control, its almost like it speaks to her telling her exactly what to do to protect her brothers, telling her how to fight back against badguys, telling her how if she just listens to it, does everything it says she can be strong enough to fight with her brothers, strong enough to belong…

She just has to listen…
