everyone lives AU in which, 10 years or so after chara first falls into the underground, reports begin to surface of another human roaming the ruins... and of course prince asriel can't leave well enough alone.
I read the post where the guys turned down mc's love confession and this had me thinking... how would each of the boys handle being rejected by the MC š¹
im gonna assume the rejection wasnt like mean and more of a "let em down easy" rejection yk?
brute- hed be upset obvi but hed take it pretty well he can read emotions pretty well so hed know you dont have any ill intentions plus he still gets to be friends with you
flint- takes it the best he has enough confidence in himself like obvi he would have preferred you accepted but he wont mope about it for days (mostly because he would distract himself enough that he doesnt have to think about it)
glare- it took him a lot of courage and lets face it he talked himself out of it 20 times before he finally got the balls to ask you out so hed take it poorly not in a toxic way but he would think to himself "idiot glare why would they ever want to date a monster like you youre so stupid" and probably doesnt talk to you for a few weeks bc hes a chronic avoider of his problems
shark- hed play it off like he was just joking about asking you out his white eyelights go out and that framiliar red one comes back and hed wink and say hes out of your league anyway and shortcuts away,,, to his room where he tells dipstick that you said no and he holds her to try and calm down but when that doesnt work he goes to the sparring court to try and tire himself out
shiv- i cant see shiv asking someone out im not even gonna lie i dont think he would so like i cant imagine a scenario of him being rejected
vile- "Ah... I See... No Worries" (hes very worried) hes scared that he just hurt your friendship and probably thinks you will stop talking to him and he will be all alone again he had a whole plan to preserve the flowers that he asked you out with after you said yes but,,, he ends up walking to the edge of the antivoid and he wants to throw them off to try and forget that this whole thing happened but he cant bring himself to get rid of the most beautiful bouquet hes ever arranged,,, so now the wilting flowers just exist in his room as a reminder

I am so so SO happy and beyond elated to have him be a part of the project and I am absolutely ecstatic that he shares the excitement. I hadnāt said anything because I was unsure if he was comfortable with spilling the news yet, but he just announced it on todayās stream and so I can finally comfortably say YES WE HAVE A NEW MEMBER OF THE CAST AND HE IS SUCH A GORGEOUS PERSON I CANNOT WAIT!

glare- if yall arent friends at least he just glares and walks away if yall are friends he just "ew no"
shark- if friends punches your shoulder and "nah you couldnt handle me" if not "uh,, no"
shiv- gets horribly uncomfortable and doesnt know how to say no hes a people pleaser and assuming hes friends with you at least he doesnt want to hurt your feelings so he probably says yes anyway

I think only Brute can use healing magic, right? I don't remember too well, but I don't think he can use it much, or maybe not, but that's beside the point. What if MC got a serious, deep wound that needed stitches? Who would be the primary medic and stitch the wound in that case? Thanks in advance for the reply š
yes brute knows healing magic !! the rest are pretty bad at it other than nightmare
so yea brute and nightmare are the two "medics" moreso brute because nightmare is usually busy
oh i love a good opportunity to ramble about glare
i will say my top three are glare shark and flint but I've obsessed over glare the most so yea he's my favorite
the reason he started to be my favorite is in the serly days of the discord server when I was fixated on brute and shark, doe made a comment about how glare had no fans and was getting no love so I decided from that moment on id love him enough for everyone
then one of the big reason i love glare is his frenzy
so when glare uses too much magic and drains all his determination he starts going into frenzy which has three stages
stage 1: transition from normal state to frenzy if you catch him early enough in this stage the frenzy can be stopped but it only lasts about 10-15 minutes so yea, his glasses and mask come off because he starts breathing heavily and well mask inhibits that (also symbolic reasons)
stage 2: the frenzy stage this is when he craves dt which is why its dangerous to humans because well he isnt really in control or rather the hunger for dt is so overwhelming that hes kinda lost control he can sense souls/dt during this and seeks out the dt basically doing anything to get dt so any human in his general vicinity is screwed because he's a wholleee lot stronger and can sense you through walls so there's no hiding
stage 3: basically the comedown from frenzy he cant use magic in stage three and also has migranes and stuff and he cant remember pretty much anything that happened during stage two
so a good comparison is bruce banner and the hulk situation and I've always loved characters like that because I can personally relate (wont get into all that on tumblr but yea chase davenport with spike was my favorite character growing up)
im also a sucker for mean characters and glare is probably the meanest in the castle (I mean he's the only one that can actually harm you in the demo so) and the fact that being mean is sooo much a defence mechanism to keep himself and others safe
i talked about it in another ask but yea glare is supppper scared of getting close to people because he's hurt virtually everyone he's ever cared about and he sees himself as a monster
which on the monster note he literally wears a mask to cover up his mouth because he has fangs and its his biggest insecurity because its a "monstrous" trait.
which I also just love characters with fangs soooo. plus with the fangs and frenzy he's sooo vampire coded and love been obsessed with vampires since I was like 5 so yea heart emoji.
another reason is hes possesive like need I say more
i also really like how in tsds phantom!papyrus isn't a hallucination he's like the actual ghost of papyrus and dude no speaking of no one in the castle belives him that phantom!papyrus even is there like even shiv?? hello shiv you and glare are brothersss. i mean shivs probably the nicest about it in the castle I think everyone else thinks galre is absolute batshit but shiv is just kinda like "papyrus haunts you? oh chill" but like inside his head he diesnt belive him which is SO SAD HELLO

he also uses playing piano as an outlet like hello healthy coping (ignore that that's like his only healthy coping mechanism) there's a few songs in his playlist that are how hed play mostly ethan bortnik stuff heart eyes
he also has a like wilted willow tree in his room that he takes care of her name is Luna Willow Phantom (named by the Phantoms in the discord server heheh) and shes only wilted because well that's what happens when you try to grow plants in the void but like look at my boy go he's still trying to grow plants I love him
